Stereotype of Females in Military

Are 'good looks' an indication of poor performance and 'not so good-looking' an indication of good performance among the female military population? Probably not; but it appears that some high-ranking Army female officers believe the perception exists and they have wrote internal communications that provide guidance not to show 'pretty female Soldiers' in Army publications.
